We fhe class of 1975, offer this in memoriam to Joy Magliocco. We miss her terribly, but her memory shall be forever etched in our hearts. Her nearness shall always be felt because she was the warm, giving and sensitive person that was always ready to give of herself for anyone in need. This is what makes Joy as great to us in death as she was in life. She was a ray of sunshine in all of the days of our lives. Longfellow has summed up our feelings when he writes: A feeling of sadness and longing, That is not akin to pain And resembles sorrow only As the mist resembles the rain. from: THE DAY IS DONE The above verse is in Joy’s own handwriting and expresses her own true philosophy.
