ADMINISTRATION I 1 k 5 SUBMASTER ROLFE BANISTER, PRINCIPAL E. BLISS MARRINEIQ To THE MEMBERS or THE CLASS OF 1951: 1 You are now to enter upon a new phase in your life's journey. It may seem to you that the future outlook is rather dark and uncertain. However, a glance through the pages of his- tory shows that people of many periods have experienced the same feelings, but they pressed forward with high hopes for a better day, gave their best to the tasks at hand, and practiced a great faith in a better future. As a consequence, our world today, with all its faults, offers greater opportunities for serv- ice to mankind and for personal growth than we have ever known. Today as never before we need men and women with personal integrity, loyalty, high character, and religious fervor to lead us forward to greater achievements. If you will accept this challenge you will make the greatest contribution toward a better world and you will experience the personal satisfaction of living a useful and productive life. It is my hope that you will use your education toward becoming worthwhile citizens as well as sources of joy to those who have sacrificed for you. I wish to extend to you my congratulations on completing the requirements necessary for graduation with my very best wishes for your future success. Sincerely, BLISS MARRINER. Princijml. Page f 011 r
