of work to be done with the added responsibility of leadership in Student Council, school pa- per, yearbook, clubs, and sports. With all the hubbub of measuring for caps and gowns, raising much needed funds by means of dances and plays, and attending school events and games, we still find time to go to school. The Clipper Review plays to packed houses both nights and the idea, although com- pletely different, is approved and considered better than ever! The senior play, Double or Nothing, is a huge success. Shirleyanne Rondeau is chosen as our D. A. R. representative and Marilyn Lee wins the American Legion award. The boys continue to be outstanding in sports winning honors for the school in football, track and baseball, but especially in basketball with still another state championship. Three players from the senior class win places on the All State team: Paul Babula, Loukas Coussoule, and Arthur Splaine. Class officers this year are: president, Arthur Splaineg vice president, Helen O'Connorg treasurer, Mose Belluccig secretary, Sheila O'Donnell, and business manager, Albert Boyan. A backward glance through the previous acts finds our group standing again on the threshold and again about to separate. This time it is not to hnd our homerooms, but to go cut into a new life, vowing never to forget the wonderful years at Portsmouth High School. l a,2e Teil
