Miss Anna Thompson, now Mrs. William Finn, former class president, presided. She is now mother and coach of five bouncing boys, her own basketball team. The first to arrive was Lieutenant-Commander Kirchmier, who just flew in from Europe. Looking stunning in her Naval uniform, Kathy just had a short time before rushing on to Honolulu where she is being stationed in an attempt to raise the morale of our men in service. Next, Mrs. Fred Garner, formerly Elmer Lee, arrived and announced that she is settling down to being a housewife and raising a family after serving twenty years residency with her husband, a now-famous surgeon. Genevieve Ryder then squealed up to the Golden Triangle on her new Harley- Davidson, sporting black leather jacket and motorcycle boots. She commands Chesapeake's Women's Motorcycle Squadron. Mrs. Bill Glandon, formerly Leicester, flew in from Camp Leleune, N. C. , where she is president of the Officers' Wives Club. Her husband is home baby-sitting with the two sets of twins. Miss Sharon Ricketts, famed Peace Corps representative, gave an enlightening talk on the mating and spawning habits of the South African yellow-bellied flounder. Sylvia G. Snyder beaming happily announced that her extra time had finally been made up and that she had received her diploma from the School of Nursing yesterday. As everyone was watching the door, in walked Mrs. Gail Werner, formerly Our Miss Wells, dragging behind her six-foot, seven-year old son, Little Jim. Last to enter was Miss Leah Griffin. Since the recent announcement of her engagement, she was forced to resign from her office as President of the National Old Maids' Club of America. As a result of her undying efforts the old maids have enjoyed many benefits. The class reunion was enjoyed by all and was concluded with a musical program by the Portsmouth General Hospital Glee Club.
