This year we have winning combination achieved a at Portola. Our combination consists of the students and staff from Adams, Downer and Portola who have come together at Portola for the 1986-87 school year. We expanded this year by adding four hundred students from the closed junior highs and thirty staff members. Though our halls and grounds are more crowded, everyone has been making an extra effort to make the new Portola their school. Students have maintained previous friendships and have had the opportunity to make many new friends. Parents have joined together in our expanded PTA. Together everyone has worked as a team.
