film. CDR D. G. BRADLEY UNITED STATES NAVY CDR Bradley initially enlisted in the Navy on 9 September 1965. His first duty stations were USS HAMMERBERG CDE-10155 and USS BROWN- SON CDD-8683. In August 1966, CDR Bradley attended BT MAH school. Between 1967 and 1969 CDR Bradley served aboard USS MCCAFFREY CDD-8601, USS HARWOOD CDD-8615, and USS MEREDITH CDD-8901 in tours off the coast of Vietnam. After commissioning in 1974, CDR Bradley served as Main Propulsion Assistant aboard USS PONCHATULA CAO-1481 until Au- gust 1977, then as MPA aboard USS GOLDS- BOROUGH CDDG-201. CDR Bradley then en- tered the Naval Post Graduate School as a student in the Manpower and Personnel Curriculum, grad- uating October 198O. After Department Head School, CDR Bradley Served as Chief Engineer onboard USS MANLEY CDD-9403, then First Lieutenant aboard USS PENSACOLA CLSD-381. In January 1985, CDR Bradley reported to the Armed Forces Staff College for the Joint Com- bined Staff Officers Course. After graduation he reported to SWOS Newport, R.l. as course co- ordinator for Steam EOOW course: CDR Bradley reported as Executive Officer of PORTLAND on 1 April 1988. , g . 5 .5 i 3 A A 1 A 1 .V C I LCDR A. F. LIVERS, IR. UNITED STATES NAVY LCDR Livers was commissioned June 30, 1976, at the NROTC Unit, University of California, Berkeley. His first shipboard assignment was onboard USS PEORIA CLST-11831 homeported in San Diego, Ca- lifornia, where he served as DCA, MPA, and fleeted up to Operations Officer. Following SWOS Depart- ment Head School, he served as Ship Control Officer onboard USS FAHRION CFFG-225, in Mayport, Florida. After attending Split Tour Engineer Officers Course, he reported as Chief Engineer onboard USS HARLAN COUNTY QLST 1 1961 homeported in Lit- tle Creek, Virginia. Following that, LCDR Livers attended the six month Armed Forces Staff College in Norfolk, Virginia, prior to reporting as Navigation Officer on board USS GUADALCANAL CLPH-71. In September 1988, he reported as Flotilla Operations and Training Advisor to the Royal Saudi Naval Forc- es in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia. He attended the Pro- spective Executive Offices Course in Newport, Rhode Island, reporting 27 December 1989 to relieve as Executive Officer of USS PORTLAND CLSD 371. Lieutenant Commander Liversf awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Com- mendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, and various unit and service awards. Lieutenant Commander Livers and his wife, Charlene, currently reside in Virginia Beach, Vir- ginia. ll
