THE ERUITEUL LADY IS STANDING AT THE CONELUENCE OF THE COLUMBIA RIVER ON WHOSE WATERS FLOW THE MANY INDUSTRIAL LTJG T- AND AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS OF THE RE- WALDRON GION. THE FIR TREES REPRESENT THE LARGE LUMBER RESOURCES AND MT. HOOD, THE SCE- BT3 J, NIC ATTRIBUTES OF THE REGION. THE SEAL OF PATTERSON PORTLAND, MAINE, IS ONE OF HERALDRY. THE PHOENIX CHERONJ SYMBOLIZES IMMORTALI- TY. THE ANCHOR IS FREQUENTLY USED IN CIT- BTFA S- A- IES HAVING A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE OTTESEN SEA AND IN HERALDRY THE ANCHOR REPRE- AUSS PORTLM SENTS HOPE.
