PRINCIPAL Mr. George Atkinson FROM THE PRINCIPAL OF THE GRADE SCHOOL- Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. -Prov. 2226. How wonderful it is to see boys and girls hiding the word of God in their hearts while learning the three R's. Beginning in the kindergarten and continuing through the eight grades, the memorizing of Bible verses takes its place beside reading or arithmetic. Under the guiding hand of God-fearing teach- ers each child is taught to see God's hand in every subject. While their lives are young and tender we must plant the seed that will later bring forth an hundred fold. Then we can claim God's promise that when they are old they will not depart from the way. The church has your child one hour each week, while the school has your child thirty hours each week. Your child is a gift from God, what will you do with it? GEORGE H.
