MR. GUILFORD MARTIN Principal Bible I English IV How I yearn to see each Christian High Schooler choose God's Highway for his journey through life. Most of us are standing on that narrow way that leads to life by God's Grace through our priceless heri- tage of Christian homes, churches and Christian schools. Yet, all too often each of us finds himself walk- ing down an arterial path - that of worldliness - in spite of the fact that we possess the Heavenly Road- Map for life which is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. The poet JOSIAH HOLLAND wrote: God, give us men! A time like this demands strong minds, great hearts, true faith and ready hands. Such men walk the narrow way of fellowship with God's Son, their faith in Him overcoming the world by God's indwelling Spirit. Out of the multitude of Christians living today, called to be saints, will you be one of the comparatively few who walk through the narrow gate and travel the narrow road of righteous living? If you will, someday you shall say, with another who has walked God's Highway through life, I remember the years of His hand's sure leading- How safe His guidance, His ways how wise: Often my thoughts and my heart would wander, My feet would follow my straying eyes: But never once did His patience fail me, And through it all did His love restrain, And when I followed where He would lead me, How all the wav and the end grew plain.
