Moore Adviser Associated Women ' s Students is an all campus organization for all the women students of Porter- ville College. The most outstanding pro|ect of the year was the annual Christmas Formal. Sno ' Ball, with Pat Cheadle acting as general chairman. Other pro|ects included the selling of Christmas angels for International Child Welfare under the auspices of the United Nations, the annual farewell party for the sophomores, sponsored by the fresh- men members of A.W.S. and an active participation in the Veterans ' Homecoming Celebration. Some of the objectives of the AMS are the bet- tering of student relationships, furthering interests of the men on the campus and planning and as- sisting with the various activities of the College.
