Henry Wadsworth Longfellow The Village Blacksmith an .- The Junior Varsity Soccer team, compiling a record of 6-2-1 enjoyed a successful season. Led by Richard Patrick and Andrew Brown in the offense, the team provided strong talent which led them to their victories. Many of the players demonstrate superior play and skill and we look forward to seeing them again next year. Bantam Soccer eventh and Eighth graders interested in playing soccer gathered y in November to form this year's bantam soccer teams: Porter- d Gray l7th gradel and Porter-Gaud Maroon l8th gradel. This season's schedule included many of the most highly skilled and experienced youth soccer teams in the Charleston area. The Gray team was 4-0-2 and the Maroon Team was 1-4-1.

The Varsity Soccer team finished an out- standing season by claiming their second state championship in the past three years. The team was one of character and one with stars who learned to play together as the season wore on.
