The Life of the Party An English professor Mr. Whit, Conducted his classes with wit. His limericks caused Great rounds of applause For whatever student got hit ! This same English teacher would sit At his desk till the talking had quit. Then with a loud choke, He told one good joke To loosen his class up a bit. Then on to poetry and prose, He lectured and paced down the rows Of students who stated That they were fascinated Till he stopped and began blowing his nose. You really have made English fun, From A.P. to plain English 1. So this Senior Class Has voted en masse To give you your day in the sun. And so here's to you Mr. Whit!
