Although the biggest event in October was Home- coming, there were many other activities that fil- led the lives of the students. College Day. sponso- red by the Guidance Department gave Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to receive important infor- mation about colleges and universities around the country. The band participated in the annual hal- loween parade and helped to promote “Beef Round-Up Month” at Piggly Wiggly. Also, stu- dents went to many dances sponsored by the var- ious clubs around school. October was certainly a very fun-filled month.
