Under his leadership and that ot Jack Levy, present editor-in-chief, the newspaper captured second place in the Columbia Scholastic Press Contest competing with hundreds ot other high school publications, Rose Perelka has been added to the board ot assistant editors. HE Periagua, under the supervision of Miss Linda Fleischhauer and Miss Irene Nord, the literary and artwork advisers respectively, has managed to capture the Znd. prize in the Columbia Contest.
