Cheerleaders Pat Keohane, Darlene Rocker, Mary Cox, Pat Moore, Jenny McIntyre, Sandra Chase The Varsity Cheerleaders, consisting of five captains and three mates, led the crowd in arousing the fighting spirit of the boys and cheering them on to victory. This was the fourth year of cheering for captains Beverly Mullaney, Charlotte Barber and Gerry Trombley, third year for Barbara Bartlett and the second for Bertha Stewart also a captain. These captains leave mates, Hazel Gardner, Patty Beck and Jane Mangan, to carry on next year. The J. V. Squad also had a successful cheering squad this year. They consisted of an entire nboatswainn squad. Many wishes are extended to these girls in cheering the boys on to winning the future battles. May their efforts in the future be as rewarding as they have 25 this year.
