I ! filhfif sf Under the supervision of Miss LaFaro, we 'Printers' have weathered many storms to make this book possible. Among things we had to contend with were the lack of equipment for type-setting on the upper deck. For this reason we were forced to work down in the brig to many long hours. Also, we were forced to pose for our pictures in rooms on the upper deck rather than in our spacious hold because of the remodeling being done. However, we enjoyed our work and calamities, and hope you enjoy the re- sulting product as much.
