The Leyden Jar Staff, the year, was made up of thirty-five willing, and capable members. Much of this yearls enthusiasm of the staff has undoubtedly been encouraged by the staff advisor, Miss Schillaci, who has generously devoted many long hours making eadh issue a success. Manyevenlngs before an issue of'The Leyden Jaru, a light could be seen glowing ln the windows of the school. No, the place wasn't haunted. Just a group of eager reporters busy doing last minute jobs on thepaper they are so proud to claim as theirs. These, after hours of effort, are an example of the bursting energy that flows in the blood of the young reporters and their editor, Betty Hullaney. The staff has been fortunate in having two capable young people to assist in the Art Department. Martha Dockstader and Robert Marmon have shown outstanding ability in this field, and have added to the attractiveness of each issue. One of the reasons for the huge circulation of HThe Leyden Jar' may be due to the effective way in which the sports were covered by Donald Trombley. Our great success in basketball this year has encouraged our reporter to devote extra time in printing the praise they deserve. The Leyden Jar this year has passed all other previous papers of our school. 29
