MR. LOUIS C. HORSMAN, Principal Dear Seniors: It seems but yesterday that you entered Port Jervis High School as members of the Class of 1951. Now, after four happy and, I hope, profitable years, you are about to be graduated into a world of stress and turmoil. In the years immediately ahead, you must have an abiding faith in God and our country and accept the great responsibility of working and living as law-abiding, re- ligious, and loyal American citizens in order that our country may continue to be great and strong. Sincerely yours, LOUIS C. HORSMAN, Principal. Page Wine

BOARD OF EDUCATION Left to Rzgbt Mr Fletcher Mr Lefferts Mr. Stratton, Mr. Wylie, Mr. Cuddeback, Mr Aliton Mrs Quakenbush, Mr. Bushwaller, Mr. Gray. MR. ERVIN R. FLETCHER Superintendent of Schools The Board of Education, the Faculty, and I wish to congratulate you upon your successful completion of a high school course of study. The experiences you have had during these years in high school should have helped you to find some of your strengths and weaknesses and, thereby, helped you to acquire a degree of assurance and confidence in yourself with which to meet the yet unknown situations and problems of the future. In short, your high school course, in a sense, has been a testing ground for you and perhaps its greatest value is in the assurance that you cah face a difficult problem and conquer the same because you have be- come more completely acquainted with yourself. Congratulations to you all, and may your lives be full of the adventures and triumphs that make men strong. ERVIN R. FLETCHER.
