- 1 Student Council ' Pictured above are the members of the Student Council, representing the various homerooms of the school. ' The Council is the student governing body. At the Weekly meetingsi problems of the students are discussed in an eH7ort to find a solution. A few of the numerous accomplishments the Council has made for the year 1947-48 are erection of a mailbox at the front of t-he -school, the installation of a telephone for students' use, a canopy for the gymnasium, and the purchase of a school flag. Honor Council p In its second year of existence, the Honor Council has succeeded in becoming one of the outstanding clubs in the school. Although it was impossible to have many meetings, they have held a new type of dance, Cafe style, encouraged politeness, and helped raise the morale of the student body.
