Roberta Hallock, so shy and sedate, ls still a peach ,a wonderful skate. She joined our class in our Sophomore year, And it seems to me we're glad she's here. A member of our yearbook staff, IXINVQIYS ready to join in a laugh. An endwoman in the Minstrel, too, Doris Farber is her name to you. Dot Kirschner is the name of this cute lassie, Oh! the men to her, sure seem classy, They to her seem hard to find, Ur maybe, it's that she can't make up her mind. Latini is the man, Marine bound last November, Now there's one boy we will remember. Football leader alt his best, W'ell, skip it, boys, we gals know him best. Rita Keller and Marion Schoeninger are two of our class' brains, These two, we know, will surely reach fame. New York lads seem to suit their taste, But please don't let local boys go to waste. Anne and Bob, together We'll bond, These two of each other are very fond. Bob was a member of the football team, As a cheerleader, you could hear Anne Scream. Emily Jenks, who waits on table, Does her work when she is able. From 310 comes this nice lass, And she is helpful to our class. Charlie Harford, wouldn't get far, lf it wer,en't for his father's car. - In school, Charlie seems to be quiet, But from 3:19 on, he's a riot, An artist at his best is he, I bet you wonder who he can be. Tommy Case-You know him, too, All I can say is, Luck for you. Alma Hammond, gym teacher to be, Eleanor Hammond, a secretary. These two girls lead a quiet school life, But are thought by all, to be very nice. Russell Crine is never found, Any .place but West End bound. 310 homeroom has him for president, Of fair Tri-States he is a resident. Our business manager was this lass, An honor roll member of our class. A motorcycle she loves to ride, From? you, Marion Decker, we'll no longer iiide. Ed Spangenberg and Charlie Pride are very quiet, So much so, they are a riot. VVe better be careful, they may surprise us, By speaking up and making ar fuss. The philosopher of the class is Race, Lou, Who thinks some nations are in a stew. A boy who knows how to use his brain, Produces arguments all the same. Marty Neumeier from around the horn, Gets pretty sick of Nickie's corn. He doesn't bother much with dames, But thinks a lot of Harry james. jake Lehn seems to be a mighty one, This boy in classes is lots of fun. He always seems to be on the ball, But in lov-e, do you think hc will fall? Heal, Paul, is next on the list, . l-le can call Her up, with a flip of the wrist. Oh, dear, what now can I say, Except to pass the time of day? Bernice MacAlarney, a 312 lass, Seems pretty good in Home Ee, class. This little girl is jolly and merry. And after school, works at J. J. New- berry. He comes from fourth ward and hes' not complaining, He's always content except when it's raining An all-round good fellow, as wc ever saw,- Oh, we forgot the name it's Charley Mills- paugh. Next on our list and the next two in turn, Are joan MacArthur and Ev Morgen- stern, They joined us in january, And in our class, helped unite it merry. Marando is the gal, her first name Stella, Never thinks much of any fella! She leaves our school at noon each day, And to Mackey's, she plows her weary way. Theresa Bedell wants to fly, VVhile clothes other girls want to buy. An active member of the C.A.P.C., Best of health and good luck to thee. From West End hails Boyle, jay, About him, what can we sary? I-Ie's quiet, refined and studious, too, Always willing to do anything for you. These fellows haven't much to say, But everyone likes these three that wav. Fran Gray, Ken Guinn and Wilton Chase, Lead in the shy, and quiet race. Two more who haven't much to say, And go along in their quiet wav. Are Theresa Curran, and Eddie Cherry, Our school day memories they'll make tanry. Bernard Clune another quiet one, ls at -his best with either rod or gun. His brothers have returned at last, And found Bernie's time, very well passed.

Class Poem PAT CONROY Through the corridors and halls of old P. J., A great many classes have passed. And now it's our turn to leave P. J., Forty-six came entirely too fast. O-h, how we will miss our old schoolmates, No more can we skip or be late. Xes, we surely will miss our old school- mates, Our futures are now up to fate. VVe have complained and griped about P. J., Not a word was meant by one. ' The best in the world is our P. J., A school full of study and fun. John Kent at first your attention commands, For he in the post of president stands. Sparrowbush is his hometown, But NVest End, too, is nice, he found. A handsome fellow from the Acre, One who is a terriiic ineart-breaker, ls Jr. Rotarian and treasurer in one. Mrs. Biondi's fun-loving son. Weigel, Dutch a 312 member, A football player we will remember. Our Vice-President, this year too, WVithout him what would the Big lll do? Bobbie Muller, the cutie with beautiful hair, Always keeps our minutes square. Instead of Frankie, she'll take Bing, And OH, is she crazy over her ring! YVe couldn't get along without this lass, A nuss who's dear to all our class. Margie Ferguson's the one we mean, As social chairman, she was keen. Van Sickle, a bruiser, his first name Dick, VVithout him would the Big III tick? He always seems to have his homework done, And in 5th period English is lots of fun. Nick Pinka-la, one liked by all, Made himself famous with a basketball. And the final member of the Big lll, Nick, remember you shot down our Christmas tree? Agnes Barber is never seen, VVithout a stick of delicious Dentyne. A secretary she will undoubtedly be, And I bet she sits on the boss's knee. Shay Van Etten is saving each penny, So she can marry our boy, Kenny. You may t-hink this is silly stuff, But she can't be with -him quite enough. MARY MULLALX Richard Fahey with his curly hair, ls thought by girls, as pretty lair. He visits Matamoras quite a lot, VVhat appealing cha-rms has it got? Nina Carter, our piano whiz, .iiways passes a musical quiz. A concert she will someday call. 'And give it in Carnegie Hall. Next in her turn comes Rohner, 'Laine For -her corny iokes, she's not to blame. As Editor-in-chier, she worked so hard, But her sunny disposition was not marred A slick-chick senior is Conroy, Pat, And a mighty nice dancer we'il say that Not a better pal can be found, l T-han this gal, who is so an-round. Roland XVieb-oldt, our farmer boy, Always seems to bring us ioy. NVhat a build this young lad has! And in pro-blems class, he takes a razz. A girl who is usually late, liven when she has a date Is Betty Goodtellow, a s-porty gal, A real teen-ager and one swell ipal. Jean Hamilton is always seen. At the Minisink on the beam, Carrying a tray of food and pastry, Jean is never, never hasty. George Pomes is next, you see, A swell senior, happy as a bee. He's another lad with wavy hair, And he thinks that school is pretty square A girl who is trim and always neat, Her letter writing can't be beat. Blonde and blue-eyed Chant, Betty, For the next rhyme are you ready? Another artist in our class, A honey-blonde and pretty lass. Who does as well, in the sports we plav Chy Grassey is all l need to say. Barbara Gunning was a new addition, To our sc-hool of fine tradition. A winning smile and helpful hand, She made our school life seem just grand. Pat McAndrew, the girl with the voice, Of men, can't seem to make her choice. Just wait awhile, Pat, wait and see, In a few more years who it will be.

Geri Cooperman is one swell kid, F ,All her homework she always did. Ihe smartest one in our class, NVho can help but admire this lass. Martha Corwin is behind Mackey's fountain, 1Many a person would climb a mountain 'Io get one of her super chocolate shakes, 1 drink so many, my stomach aches. Dot Cronk is a worker of the Red Cross, When she wants work done, you'll find who's boss. A married woman she intends to be, VVe all hope she'll be very happy. Ed Crowell is famous foir his grin, Blushing to him, is done at a whim. A mass of curly red hair has he, Vlhich at a distance you can see. Peggy Dorcas is a lass, VVho's done a lot for our class. Although reserved and rather shy, In frolic and studies she got by, Helen Doss a dark-haired beauty, Thinks a lot of a red headed cutie, An assistant to our classbook guide, From any task she would never hide. A very studious gal is she, Can you guess what her name will be? Bobbie Dunworth is who I mean, A clever gal and mighty keen. Another gal who reads school books, And isnt' bad on the looks. Is dark haired, Ellwanger, jean, Sophisticated, quiet and rather lean. Sarando Panesis, a 312 boy, When playing in the band, he reallv spreads joy. His favorite pastime is helping his dad, Here's one lad who is never sad. Carmella Presto, seems very small, Bet she wishes she were rather tall. Very quiet is this girl, A smile for all she will unfurl. joan Rowlands is our class redhead, I By this 4th ward lass, nothing is said. She is what we call a sporty gal, And to her friends is one swell pal. Sheehan is a lad who is on the ball, But in appearance is quite small. johnny is happy as he can be, When he's fooling around with the Big III. Marilyn Jones, a singer gal, And to us Seniors, is an all-round pal. She always seems to get her work done, But still she is a lot of fun. Bob Katz is the name of this young lad, It seems his studies drive -him mad. Carefree. yes, he's lots of fun, Hey, Bob, have you got your English done? Lois Koenig is next, I guess, She thinks mat school is quite a mess. An all-round girl, and of art is a fan, And can always be found with her man, Sam. This girl had charge of stamps and bonds. Ann she used very little Pond's. Angelakos is her name, She will rise to lasting fame. A short fellow full of fun, Always ready with a pun. ls comical Arbutowich, Bob, l-lis good disposition will land him a job. Another lass who waits for mail call, And has a fit, if the postman dares fall. ls our charming wolfess, Hinkley, Part, A real American girl at that. Urew is next, his last name Crine, To all Senior girls, he seems quite fine. Hes a veteran, who joined us in jan., Mfhile serving our country, he was a Navy man. joan Stempart, who is a Tri-States lass, ls always bored in health class. joan is an eager hard working gal, And ilae seems to us like a pretty good fp . Our little French student, is next in line, Seems to get to school ahead of time. Her marks are always far from poor, Introducing Rio's pride, her name June Moore. A 310 member is Pat Hoar, Thinks that school is quite a bore. Tiiis little lass joined us in january, To all her friends seems jolly and merry. Fsther McDonnell hails from third ward, Spends on her homework all she can afford. A 312 gal you can plainly see, ls always found talking about Wee, A fellow who left our class this fall, And joined another of Uncle Sam's call. VV3s Donald Aber whom we alll remember, Let's hope he's out by next September. Barber and Case joined in jan., XVith our noisy, fun loving clan. Much to our joy they added pep, But too long from -us, thev were kept. The Student Council couldn't get along, VVithout this boy so big and strong. Ken Engelhart is the fellow's name, Surely he'll rise to the Hall of Fame. Don Baker is the guy with a car, XVho would drive his pals from here to a star. A good sport and mischievous boy, He added to our schoolday's joy.
