Class Poem by TOM PATTERSON DAN PECK Although it's just a :high school, And we wonlt get a degree, We think our class is pretty good, As you will readily see. just read a little farther To see who dlid survive Four years of toil and trouble To make the Class of '45. First we shall present to you Our officers, for your review: Our president, 'Chlarles Ullrich, To most girls is a dream. He belongs to only one of them, Her name, we know, is Jean. Tom Patterson, our vicefipresident, In the minstrel was a scream. I think you'll all agree with me, Hels really on the beam. ,lean Pettit is the ginl W.ho keeps the minutes straight. Her walk to school is awfully long, But somehow she's never late. Jean Hoppey is the one Who keeps tne Seniors' money. We think you'll agree with us Her dispositions sunny. Our social chairman, Denis Boyd May any day be seen, Workinlg for Miss Stoddard Running the movie machine. Since they now have gone on by, The rest are ready to catch your eye. Charlie Weis, our vocal king, May someday be another Bing. Ronnie Hartrim pleases the girls, But who wouldn't with those curls! Pat McGuigan's wonderful dfream Concerns a certain U.qST Marine. Tommy Walt'on is very fond Of Betty Chant, a gorgeous blond. Bob Bauman, best in the land Led our Iuinior Stunt Night Band. Walt Muller is headed for A career in the Air Corps. eannie Hubbard is one, of many j i . Who works downtown for I. C. Penney. Don Felter, quiet and neat, Is always discovered in his seat. U we But Marie Jenks roams anound, And, when she's needed, can't be found Sonny Armstrong, our baseball Star, In the Navy will go very far. George Paulison any day Can be found at the Y. M. C. A. West End claims nothing finer, Than its pride and joy, Ray Greiner Marie Lowery, after her graduation, Plans entering the nursing occupation. Margie Stewart and Doris Gill In our opinion, fill the bill. Spelling champ of the Senior Class Irs Carmela, a darkfhaired lass. Bill O'Conlnor, a third ward resident, Is our Student 'Council President. Doris Ollear, friend to all, Will be in college by next fall. A great help at her father's shop Is Art Gray's friend, Joyce Ott. Lucille Galloway, short and slim, Really goes for Eugene Glynn. Always smiling and never weary Is Ray'-s friend, Betty Cleary. Katherine Phelps breezes through Law As if the stuff were nothing at all. Did you hear a wolfess howl? That's Dekey Kroger on the prowl. Dave Goldman drives around And acts as if he owns the town. Shirley Grady, our artist girl, Ought to give the boys a whirl. Pool shark of the Y. M. C. A. Is our own Tom Rossa. Frances Suchoruky gets along fine With anyone at any time. Alberta Pullds is new this year. We certainly enjoyed having her here. Madge Moran has nary a fault. If you doubt me, just ask Walt. Harriet Williams and Teidrick, Mary Left our midst in january. Uncle Sain has oalled one more: Bill Norris, to serve in the Air Coips. Edith Pinokney, a studious lass, Is friend of all who are in our class. john Remey gave up in despair, When he tried to lb9C0lTl'B a millionaire. Ruth Goiodyear's lbliondish curls. Are the envy of all the girls. Warren Wagner has a regular beatg It always ends on Erie Street. Helen Craiwford, tall an-d slim, Thinks the boys are just a whim. Lucille MoGaw acts sorta quiet. But get her joking and shes a riot. Patsy Lore has a nice little? car. Buit on a gallon it wonlt go far. But what we'll miss the most of all, Is jack Cimming's wolfing call. Helen Abers is always active And, wh.at's more, she is very attractive. ln class Bill Benton never pe-eps, For most of the time he really sleeps. Ruthie Henningson thinks French is si cinch And helps Maloney when she's in a pinch. Private Mic1Creery of football fame Is now playing the Army game. Bob Russell had dreams of football, too. Burt now he wears the Navy blue. With Hitler, Hammond will settle the score. 'Cause now hes' in the Air Corps. 'Ruthie Goldman's favorite sport Is asking Dave for financial support. Nina Ellen-bogen is another one Who carries home books by the ton. Two attractive girls of the Senior Class Are jean Stemip-ert and the Edward's lass.
