Finale Valentines heart with Cupid shooting his arrow and took sec- ond place also. The 1980-81 school year brought us up a step on the lad- der as we became Juniors. But this year also brought something else: split sessions. Though split sessions were the worst thing that ever happened to Port Huron High, there were also good things that came out of it — like the merging of two schools which gave us all the opportunity to meet new friends! Classrooms were occu- pied with weary students from 6:40 a.m. until 5:25 p.m. and our sports were taken away from us, but somehow we managed to adjust. Now the class of 82 is the Senior class. Mother Goose took off flying into first place, and we have a winning football team. We finally put our cross- town rivals. Northern Huskies, in their place and we let the whole community know it! Now as we look back on our Senior year and everything we have accomplished during our high school years, we wonder, as we did as Freshmen, what the world holds in store for us. our minds. Remembering the embarrass- ing times as freshmen, the exciting times as sophomores, the glorious days of our junior year, and finally our senior year helped all of us to grow. Seniors
