Reading For Fun Or For Teachers The Port Huron High School Media Center is a important part of the school. It is used by the students, teachers, and oth- er people and groups in the school. It is used for classes to come down and look for books for assignments made in class, like a book report or research paper, etc. Students can go in it during their studyhall to fine a book or read for fun or for a teacher, or they can study for a test. Our Media is impor- tant to everyone. Mrs. Anderson is one of our Media teachers she is pictured top left and bottom right. She works hard to keep the media in order. Mrs. Beebe pictured top right is another media personnel, she works with filmstrips, the machines for filmstrips and helps teachers get the filmstrip they wish to see. Mrs. Wrench is a me- dia secretary she takes records and helps the media teachers out when needed. She is pictured bottom left. 21

He counsels students and takes care of attendance. Mr. Frost, (pic 4 bottom-left) looks out at his students with willing help. Mr. Emlaw, (pic 5, bottom-right) works hard at helping his students solve their prob- lems. Our counselors are a very important part of our school. They are here to help the students with prob- lems inside of school as well as outside it. They work hard and take care of many different kinds of problems. They try their best to an- swer your questions. Our counselors deserve a lot of credit and thanks for all of their effort that their job takes.

Mrs. Bowman (2nd row 2nd pic.) works in the student lounge. Mrs. Emlaw, (3rd row pic. 1 and pic. 3) works for the assistant principals, and takes care of the attendance sheets. Mrs. Bingham (3rd row pic. 2) works in the Athletic de- partment. Miss. Ganhs, (4th row Pic. 1) workd in the band room. The secretaries job is a very busy and complexed one. It in- volves typing, filing, taking phone calls, and many other jobs related to secretaries work. They work hard to do their job and do it to perfection. Our sec retaries are considered important to our school.
