Wallace Moon -Choir, Honors Band Eric Payton-Honors Band, Instrumental Milton Ploghoft-Art and Crafts Margaret Reid Crafts and Metals Carolyn Smith -Crafts, Drawing and Painting Jm A ' fU . . . The Fine Arts department has been a source of joy for the entire school. From Cadet Band to Honors Band and from Art to Choir, all are vital classes in our school. Mr. Payton, Mr. Moon, Mr. Ploghoft, Mrs. Reid, and Mrs. Smith all con- tribute to the excellent teaching of Fine Art subjects. It is through this teaching, the band has reached enough acclaim to be invited to the 1972 Munich Olympics. But we cannot take any credit away from the art students. Drawing, sculpture, painting, metal work, and ceramics are creations that show up in the case in the one-hundreds hall. Reach out through Fine Arts. 24

Good SfUjiUk StUOMi Good Gummoa English class. For most of your younger life its been part of the curriculum. Now though, there is a difference. Communications, college credit En- glish, bible, American, modern, and English literature dot the schedule sheet. Now it is a journey back to Shake- speare’s time or on to modern poetry. Through the fascinating world of books, learning takes place sometimes even involuntarily through the fun in class. Three different levels of English also take care of the large variety of stu- dents. Think how many students around the world learn more than one language. Many here have trouble with just our own -granted it is one of the hardest languages to learn. Reach Out through Our English Language. 23
