As in the past, the 1970 Home- coming was the highlight of the school year. The air was full of fun and excitement leading up to the big day. It all began weeks before when all of the classes and many clubs began work on their floats. Excitement mounted as the moment of the parade, and later the game, arrived. Pictured from bottom left moving clockwise are the queen and her attendants; Senior attendants Gayle Williams and Kathy Heyer; the senior’s cowinning float, “Beany and Ce- cil”; Chris Albert, Homecoming Queen; the co winning junior float, “Sylvester and Tweety”; and sev- eral Big Reds in the Homecoming parade. iBll
