The student body and faculty members of Port Huron High School were deeply grieved at the untimely death of Miss Geraldine Turner who had been on the teaching staff in the commercial department of the high school since 1925; she had served as head of the departmeht since 1942. Port Huron High School has lost a capable teacher and a grand personality. Those who have recently been under Miss Turner’s guidance and have known her friendship will feel a great personal loss. Many who have gone out from this school to take their places in other communities will recall with humble reverence the kindly, patient teacher who inspired them toward a greater and more contributory life. 10
