The Spanish Club presenT Their singing group AFS was founded in 49441 by American ambulance drivers. IT is a non-profif organizaTion which devoTes iTs Time To enabling sTudenTs from all over The world To spend a year or a summer in a foreign counTry wiTh a family. This year PorT ClinTon High School was home for Jens HarTmann from Reinbek, WesT-Germany. He sTayed wiTh The Rev. l?oberT SchefTer family. AT The same Time Wendi Nelson, a PorT ClinTon Senior, was spending a year in SwiTzerland. Joe O'Lalde had spenT The summer of 4984 in Ecua- dor. NexT, Jackie Nehls will go To Mexico during The summer. By far The mosT ouTsTanding acTiviTy of The AFS-chapTer was The lnTernaTional TalenT Show To which many sTudenTs came. Many foreign language sTudenTs had a performance prepared. Like so many years before, The AFS chapTer also had a very successful spagheTTi dinner in April.
