Y . . . - w----- xv.v13.Q,1 girlsg Sue Lamb and Donna Jean Schmoll two noisy tomboysg Jim Barker, Bob Wainwright, Rodney Whitesides, and Lloyd Dailey, three mischievious children. Bob Dailey officiated as Santa- Claus and in the evening distributed gifts. En November 26, we held a theater party at the LeClaire Theater in Moline where we saw Nwhere There's Life.n Later we visited nClub l27OH in Rock Island, then met at the NThe Spotn in East Mo line for refreshments. We held another theater party on December 4. We saw nGreen Dol- phin street at the LeClaire Theater in Mauna. Later we stopped at the UBrown Owlu for hamburgers and cokes. The Seniors sponsored a dance after the Annawan-Port Byron basket ball game on February l3. On March ll, the Seniors attended a theater party at the LeClaire Theater to see the technicolor film, HScudda Hoo, Scudde Hey.n After the show, we met at uBremmer's Linern for refreshments. We went to Starved Rock State Park on April l for a picnic lunch. Senior girls won first place in the Inter-Class tournament in April. The Seniors held their second Spring Carnival on the evenings of May 13 and 14. There were many attractions. Bingo tables in charge of Sue Lamb and Bev Mose with Mr. Henry calling the num- bers, and a Fish Pond in charge of Mary Noah and Carol Hermes. Alan Anderson and Jim Barker ran a Milk Bottle stand and Don Wueh le, Truman Langhofer, Franklin Sample, and Earl Bull supervised the Basketball Throw. Two movies were run off by Carl Orr and Carroll Searl. Joan Ecker, Nancy Zwolanek, Donna Jean Schmoll, and Elinor Larson took care of Novelty Stands. A Balloon Board was run by Lick Strandgard, Joan Zwolanek, and Judy Barker. Jim Smith, Wayne Skelton, Bob Wilson, and Herb Wadsager helped in the Fun House. The Ring Toss was under the direction of Dolores Mur- phy, Mary Lou Engebretsen, Barbara Johnson, and Alan Anderson. Bob Lamb kindly loaned a Cotton-Candy machine along with a Penny- Pitch Board where Bob Dailey and Don Earhart spent most of their time picking up pennies. They managed a Weight-Guessing Booth al so. Joan Eoker, Nancy Zwolanek, Elinor Larson, Donna Jean Schmoll Barbara Lewis, and Trudy Mostert helped with the Side Shows. Carl Orr, Rodney Whitesides, Bob Wainwright, Lloyd Dailey, and Walt Bull put on a skit entitled NA Pair of Ebonies.H Jim Barker and Lick Strandgard had charge of a NFootball Rafflen with raffle tic kets sold by Don Frits, Chuck Williams, and Bob Carlson. Mothers of the Seniors contributed pies and cakes and fancy Work, and Al- ice Clossin, Larlene Schafer, Midge Railing, Nancy Skelton, and Joyce Wuehle worked as salesgirls. Sue Lamb, last year's Carniva Queen crowned Junior Nelda Hollister this year's Carnival Queen.
