dent Council. She took part in both Junior and Senior plays, had a part in the Operetta, and worked on the Echo and Ink Spot Staffs. She is a willing, cooperative worker, and her work played a large part in the marked success of the year's publica- tions. Sue was the picture editor of the l948 Echo and the at- tractive arrangement of the picture pages is due entirely to her efforts. ' Another Staff member, Beverly Hose, entered Port Byron High School from Eureka Grade School in the fall of '44. During her Freshmen year, she was a member of the Home Ec Club, the GLA, served on the Echo Staff, and was a member of the Pep Glub. In her Sophomore year, she continued membership in the GLA, in the FHL, the Pep Club, and was again on the Echo Staff. As a Junior she was a member of these same clubs, During her Senior year, Beverly was elected president of the GLA and vice-president of the FHA. She took part in both Junior and Senior plays and was in the Cperetta. She is a dependable, willing, and efficient worker and her efforts contributed in no small part to the suc- cess of both the Ink Spot and the Echo. L third Staff member, Donna Jean Schmoll, entered High School from Leafy Bower Grade School in the fall of '44. khan she was a Freshman, she joined the Home Ec Club, the Gil, and the Pep Club. During her Sophomore year, she continued membership in these clubs. Ls a Junior, she again became a member of the GAL, the Pep Club, and the FHA. During her Senior year, she was a member of the GAL and one of the school's librarians. She took part in both the Junior and Senior plays and was also in the Gp- eretta. Lonna is a loyal, faithful worker, serving on both the Echo and Ink Spot Staffs. She gave invaluable assistance in the publication of the l948 Echo. Elinor Larson, the fourth Staff member, entered Port Byron High School from Eureka Grade School in the fall of '44. During her Freshman year, she joined the Home Ee Club, the GAA, and the Pep Club. As a Sophomore, she continued membership in these clubs and in addition joined the Echo Staff. When she was a Junior, she joined the FHA and the GLA. In her Senior year, she became a member of the FHA, the GAL, and took part in both the Junior and Senior plays. She was also a member of the Operetta cast. She served on both the Ink Spot and Echo Staffs. The Staff cf the 1948 Echo found in Elinor a willing worker whose cheerful and efficient cooperation added a great deal to the pleasure de- rived in publishing the Year Book, and had a marked bearing on its success.
