Junior Class Play HBOLTS AND NUTSH Rebecca,Bolt CNancy Zwolanekb and her niece, Benita CBeverly Nose? along with their maid, Lutie Spinks CDonna Schmollb, are living in the old mansion left to Rebecca by her late brother, Benjamin. Rebecca, whose latest whim is HPsvchologyH, plans to turn the mansion into a NMental Sanatorium.n Along with the mansion she has inherited her brother Benjamin's two servants, Martha Grubb CDolores Murphy! and Terry Goobor CDick Strand- gardD. Martha insists that the house is haunted because a form er owner, Samuel Henry, murdered his wife there and buried her in the garden. Phineas Plunkett CLloyd Daileyl, Benjamin's law yer, confirms 7artha's misgivings and warns everyone to leave the place before another murder is committed, Rebecca refuses to leave because she wants to find the 315,000 that her broth- er has left hidden in the house, According to a letter from Benjamin brought to her by Plunkett, she is entitled to the en- tire amount on the condition that she finds it herself. Should someone else find it, he would be entitled to a 55,000 share of it One morning Rebecca is knocked down by a stranger on a bicycle. He introduces himself as Dr. Hinnrocates Joy, C alter Bulll, author of the HJoy Bookn by which Rebecca plans to treat her mental patients. She is so thrilled to make his acquaintance that she forgets her accident and makes plans to greet her new patients. The patients soon arrive. There is Cadwalleder Clippy tBob Daileyj, an old sweetheart of Rebocca's who has suffered from a fear of cats all of his life. Then comes Prunolla F158 CEl- inor Larsonjg a stenographer from the local Court House who , says she is suffering from claustrophobia, a fear of confined places. She just can't stand closed doors. Then arrives Hrs. Certie Glossip CJoan Eckcrl who has given up her job as clerk of the Probate Court to be cured of her fear of contamination. She is accompanied by her darling little daughter Suzie CSue Lambb. Nr. Glossip fAlan Anderson! soon arrives to help his wife in har search for the treasure and Sam Coober !Jim Smithl, Henry's father, comes to try his luck also. Before they have been there long, Rebecca finds that their real purpose for en- tering her sanitorium is to look for the 515,000 which is hid- den on the premises. Meanwhile Twink Starr CBailey Knorr? decides that he must find the money to get into the good graces of Rebecca who has refus. ed her consent to his marriage to her niece. So, disguised as a mental patient, he enters the sanitorium, but the artificc is eventually discovered by Rebecca. By this time, however, she has been so thoroughly frightened by the antics of Dr. Joy
