Snowballs was han in' all aroun' Crather cold fer our'n bare feetg, Santy Clauz brung us presents--a Xmas tree was settin' in front of the stage--then we et, ---Jve selled poo all during County Tourney fer score- board, we made 100 bucks. We sent fer our'n in- vites fer graduation, Oh yeah, we lost Jake too, ----Us's boys and girls won the Physical Ed. Tourna- ments. We all went too a beautyfull Valentines party. -We'uns had an Ice-skatin' Purtya Shirley Jacob- sen got herself hitched--in Missery CHissouri7. Helped out on Athletic Banquet, big success had gym decorated like Hell Kfer the Red Devilsi. ----Planned fer our Carnival to be given' in May. We'n all had a Sadie Hawkins Day--everbody tglgg to land em a man! ----We gaved a Spring Carnival on May lst and 2nd. We had lots of inneresting stuff--A Fun House where Bob and Ben really sceered us's. The Bingo game made us loads of money--Mildred and Norma were there with Kr. Henry hollering his head off on some numbers, The Fishpond gived the littl' kids a big wallop--they just pulled a string and gotted a purty prize every time. Pat suppervised it. Then we had a Milk Bottle stand with Jac and Flip helping Cpart of the timel. It was all very silly--furst they setted the milk bottles up and then they knocked 'em doawn--setted em up agin-and tried to knock em doawn agin Cgettin' no place fast,J A Basketball Throw was good and fun--Ed, Bob E, and Vic did it fer us. The guys really like to try to hit the hole in the basket.with the ball. There ware a Ring Toss with fruit jar rub- bers, a board with pegs, and Rusty's nosel Rusty were our'n clown, sure were cute. Frances P. and Blondie runned it. The movies was inneresting and fun, some funny ones an' a thing they call a west- ern, Miss Perring tooked all the money fer us CThanks Miss Perrin'D, Ayers showed the pictur. Mary and Dolores runned a Novelty Stand--they sell- ed balloons an' everthing C?7 The mothers of us made us some fanciful work and cakes we selled them alsew, The mothers runned lunch room fer us 0

and selled coffee, pie, and cake. A Balloon Board was run by F, Backman and D. Griffen where the more you hit, the more you gitted. Hrs. Atkinson telled us our'n fortunes. Our Fran Gilbert setted in.the lower hall with buckets an' buckets of cash. Above hern chair wuz a sine a-sayin' HU-all kin git yourn' change here,N Fran took in an' gived out heaps and heaps, plenty nickels and dimes for all uv'em to spend. Larry and Wuehle were Niggers and gived a good show, with the circus. There was tight rope walker, Roland--with the purtiest pink dress and bow in his hair CCongratulations Moseh a strong man-Alan Anderson and an' Armless Wonder Muggs. Each nite we gived away a basketball what with names of the Bed Devil Basketball Team, On Fruday nite about 10:30 we KLarry, President! crowned Sue Lamb Carnival Queen. She had the nostest votes. We gitted enuff fer our scoreboard which we is giving to the school fer a farewell gift. We wish ta thank all them that made our'n Carnival a Big Success. May 10th the Junirs gived us's a prom at Black- hawk, We sure looked purty--all us girls wif for- mals an' shoes on an' the boys wif pants on. Some of 'em even wore jackets. Sure beatyfull, thanks Junirs, Kids Day--Ve dressed just like we useter when we 'uns was little kids. Mure fun! Hay 23 we tooked our'n exams--sigh--And weared our'n caps we looked intelligentll Rev, Wuehle were the prea- preachinl Had a hillbilly May 26, choosed and crowned an' gowns. CAt least Nay 25--Baccallaurate, cher in charge of the theme fer Class Nigh, our'n May King and May Queen. Hay 27--Fleet Day Lots of fun, Hmm, probably sun-burn. May 28, Commencement. Graduated-were we ever glad to git outten that joint! CI wish we could say that truthbully.5 So now we is dun--we liked every minut of it--and want to wish everybudy as much fun as we had.
