This dramatic work is given as a regular part of English instruct- ion, each class receiving play direction and practice for a . six weeks period during both their third and fourth years. Mrs. Henry's aim is to give each student a chance to appear on the stage in regular play production twice during his high school career. .A feeling of self confidence and satisfaction is engendered through such public appearances and success on the stage often leads to a further interest in dramatics and the underlying principles of stage technique. Since 1941, the following plays have been directed by Marian Henry: Junior plays---Aunt Samanthy Rules the Boostg High Pressure Homerg Saved by the Belleg Cheerio, my Deariog Border Buckeroosg Bolts and Nuts.
