His oetbsll squad won the first football trophy ever present- ed by the TwoeRivars Conference to a winning team, his basket- ball tcam earned Consolation hcnors in both the Rock Island Coun y and the Two-Rivers Tournaments and entered the District Tour ament, winairg over Lyndon in thc initial contest, but losi g the chance for further participation in District play throfgh a fourteen-ooint loss to Orion.
