Hall came to Port Byron in the fall of 1945 to take over the Principalship of the Community High School after eight years of service in Petersburg, Illinois. as City Superintendent of Schools. He holds a B. Ed. Degree from Western Illi- nois State Teachers College and a Masters from University of Iowa.
