The English class offers our pupils the rudiments of the language along with the best that is known and thought in literature. The chief goal is to provide our community with more enlightened and more literate citizens. l For those students who possess special artistic qualities, our art department offers the best opportunities under the direction of a professional artist, Mrs. Gates. The advantages of these departments are just a few of all the advantages avail- able to make our pupils better and more responsible citizens in the world. In the Homemaking Class our girls learn how to select and to prepare foods. Here they learn how to become better and more efficient homemakers. Through the guidance of Miss Townsend the girls are trained for the responsibil- ities of a good housewife and home- maker.
