Text from Pages 1 - 60 of the 1965 volume:

Mrs. Muriel Garrow The Class of 65 has taken this occasion, the dedication of our annual, to for- mally show our appreciation to Mrs. Muriel Garrow, our school secretary. Charac- terized by quiet enthusiasm and sense of duty, Mrs. Garrow has proved herself invaluable not only to the office, but also to the Senior Class. Her help in keeping the books, making signs and tickets, and in performing other little essential tasks has been far from impersonal. The Class felt that this was the best way to repay Mrs. Garrow's many efforts. Supreme Court Building Frank E. Dodge Superintendent Luther M. Lamb Principal Algebra IX Geometry Deanna E. The paper was prepared for this, our 1985 or twenty year reunion. Here is what I found out. Karen Ashworth, a great lover of horses back in '65, is now State Chairman of the Humane Society. Cheryl Behm is now president of the Behm Clarinet Company. Cheryl always said it was the instrument's fault when she made a mistake, so now she is out improving them. Mike Finan and Dave Stouffer are partners in the Finan-Stouffer Wild Duck Meat Plant. Hope the business is good boys. Tim Finan and Ernie Korleski are NBC's top news commentators. Back in '65 we heard Good night Chet and Good night David. Now, we hear Good night Ernest and Good night Timothy. Dave Gordon is a ferry boat captain working out of the recently widened Pinnebog River. Connie and Sandy Hogan are co-owners of the Hogan Jellies and Preserves Company. We always thought those two girls were just peachy. Floyd Jaworski and Dave Knoblock are in the Pork Sausage business. I am sure you have all seen their ads, they sell them in all fifty-three states. Joan Krease is the head of the Orange Pickers Union. She is stationed in the South. Bob Steinman is serving on the President's committee for cutting down our nation's 100 billion dollar budget. As you know Bob always was good at Math. Most of us know Kay Reimann as House Mother Reimann. You see Kay is the house mother of a large girls dorm at Northern Michigan State University in Bad Axe. My! How the college has grown. Tom McGuire is now Vice President of the Hallmark Card Company. Tom always did admire cards of all kinds. Betty Poloski serves as Tom's secretary. Ray Hoody and Jim Knoblock are partners in a car and helicopter repair shop. Boy! Times have sure changed. Pat Krumenaker and Carol Vegenski own and operate a Dress Shop. The name of the shop is Space Fashions Unlimited. Man, you should see some of the beautifully hidden oxygen packs the girls are selling now. Peggy Schwedler is now Dean Schwedler of the Port Austin Rocket Hostess School. Oh yes, our town forges on. Joan Murawski is now personal secretary of Judge Frapperbackinning, the present judge of the P.A. area. e Kurt Thuemmel and Don Schramski are big wheels in the Michigan Milk Producers Association. As they say, you never out grow your need for milk. Karen Horn, married you know, is living in Moon City. Well, there is the Class of '65, all but me. Bill Mayes. 1 always wanted to get into politics and I finally made it. I am now the Under-Under-Under-Under-Secretarv of Defense in charge of making sure there are cups at all the water coolers in the Pentagon.
