Should the Muses sing our desewed praise the celestials on Mt.01y111pus would he entranced as they listen to the g1'aeat11d numerous victories ot the clasg of '22 in the classroom. They would hear of deeds that would put Minerva, the goddess of wisdom, to shame. Even at the first sight of us one would predict wonderful possi- bilities in us. but we have even surpassedl thel predictions of our best friends. We discovered ere long we had traveled the road of Leaming that there were many milestones leading to Graduati t1011. Afte1'having traveled the long road of grammar schooi and having been raised from the ranks of ' per ps , We were initiated into the alistoci'acy 0f the High School. YesY we admit that we were once Freshmen Even the class at '22 was compelled to go thru such an ordeal. We do 11015l have to mention that as Freshmen we ran about the campus like, wild animals. The name F1 'eshmen alone implies such 1111tit's Honestly. we may say that our class was no exception and lived up to the rule of those going before us. As poor down tl'odden Freshies, the members of the class of '22 were subjected to many abuses. Of course, We t1 'ied ta resent. these but to no avail Oh those awful humiliations We were forced to endure! Probably a less determined class would have given up but not so with the immortal class of '22. Upo ou1' en- trance into Fishburg we elected Hannah Bos as president. Hannah Was always active and enthusiastic in any thing that pertained to the Freshmen Class.Du'i111gthis year we attended our first banquet. It was the annual High School banquet and gthe Fresh- men, as usual were well 1ep1 eseuted Thus we left Fishburg 1'01 the next milestone The land of the Sophomores 01' uSophs marked the second milestone. We in- dignantly rejected the interpretation of this word as meaning a HWise fuolit. Surely 11o considerate person would dare to apply such expreSSion, to the tlass of '22. Now that our Freshmen days were dim and had gone into the distant past we were greatly amused at the Freshmen antics exhibited about the campus The Tish deplored our disposition as hitter and abusive. Too had! In the future they will see their mistakes and acknowledge in us a guiding l1a1111.Altl1o we WPIP Sophs them was one thing we would like to know. The answer to this question haunted us all the time. We had made all kinds of scientific resenl'vhos regarding the matter: we had studied literature in order to ga in the answer but to no avail. The question that had caused us all this worry and after all that studv, we did not know the answer. was Why 110 such brilliant people as we have to go to school? 1711 to this day, we have never been ahle to solve this question. When We entered this land of the Sophomores we elected Ina Williams. president. Under Inn's leadership 11'e beoame a gay class and to others We were known as the symbol of fun Much were we envied by the Freshmen because of our gaieties. In the t'tug 0' war how the Sophomores did fight! The third milestone was in the 1111111 of the Juniors. Juniors! Just think, we almost climbed to the top of the ladder. One more year to go, then we would he Seniors and theuiGl'aduation! Our Junior year was the most delightful of all of those that had gone before. We chose Gerald Barnes as preeident. but later Gerald resigned because being captain of the football team was too busy Teh vacancy was filled hv the vioe- president Ge1't1'ue Mae McFadden The Junim'eSenior entertainment was
