SEIIIO 6145.9 - 1960 The past three years hold many memories for the class of 1960. The members of this class have worked hard and may well be proud of the fine job they have done. Of course the highlights of these years are the class pro- jects and social activi- ties. Their first senior high school underta- king occurred as Soph- omores when they spent many hours working on their home- coming float, Tomorrowlandf' The soph- omore hop, Moonlight and Cupid, suc- ceeded this and certainly showed their versa- tility and made apparent their ability. A first for the Class of 360 was their sponsorship of the first big dance in the new gymnasium. Venus, Goddess of Love, surely watched the couples attending the ju- nior prom as they danced in a mythological Sandy Johnson, s atmosphere. Birth of the Blues will always hold fond memories for this class as that was the theme of their j u n i o r homecoming float. The successful seni- or year will be the most cherished. To be- gin with, the cl as s placed first in the an- nual A.S.B. drive with 94-.6WJ. ln the home- coming parade their slightly wet but origi- nal float, Have Sea- horse, VVill Float, placed first. In bidding farewell, the Class of '60 presented Sayonara as the theme of their senior ball. An exotic mood prevailed in the oriental setting. The efforts of their senior class advisors, Miss Sheeley and Mr. Samuelson, have helped to make this year very successful. ass president And now, as farewells are said, We wish the seniors success and happiness.
