. . . see puck and shovel pranks . . . 'llhe Jiuiiors' reniarkable perform- ance of the hilarious play, HTl1e Canni- bal Queen, made its presentation a complete sueeess. The plot centers around Allen Kent CPeter Sibbaldl who falsely tells a ricl1 uncle QSidney Smithl he is bringing' home a cannibal queen from the Solo- mon Islands. Allen's friend, Bruce Clyde Cliarry Uayanusl. a newspaper reporter, learns about it and enriches the story with a fake queen C-loan llritehfieldj and her retainers Qlionda Barnard a11d Larry Eymanb. Wlieii the real queen, Ju Ju fBeVerly Pinordl, appears unexpectedly the plot really becomes complicated. This fast action comedy was under the competent direction of Mr. Robert Stocking Who Was ably assisted by pro- duction manager, Frances Richard, and her various committees. As the cry 'ffioldln echoed across the country, all classes of people hur- ried from different direetionsg so the ring of three bells beckons all students to an assembly at R-.H.S. A large variety of programs was planned for the edueation and entertainment of the students. During this year the assemblies were outstanding' in the portrayal of interest and purpose, due in part to the number of National Assemblies which were pre- sented. These types of assemblies gave students a chance to see more and bet- ter presentations at a reasonable price. Of most enjoyment to the students were the pep assemblies before the games which encouraged the players to do their best for the school and urged the students to support them.
