The Latin American spirit was well carried out through the year under the leadership of Hugh Hall, president, Ann Dick- son, vice president, Betty Dunder, sec retary, and Joanne Cobb, treasurer Monthly meetings were well attend ed for after the food and there was always plenty of it there was an en thralling program which featured per- haps a speaker from far off Nicaragua or a gripping movie of the steaming jungles and vast plains below the equa- tor which brought our Latin American friends closer to us Amidst the confusion and excite ment of the Christmas season, the an nual dance, Yuletide Tempo, was the highlight of the holiday festivities IOI ROW I A Rt W 4 J ROW 2 Starlef I' BOTIOM ROW 1 Had a stranger been with us on our Pan American Field Day, he would have thought that he had found a corner of old Spain itself Spanish classes from all peninsula schools were our guests in discussing topics of interest dealing with South American affairs Our field l26I I I JJ no I4 I day ended with the feeling that we had made new friends with many mterests 1n common As we conclude our voyage we look back on many profitable hours spent in pursuit of knowledge of our Latin American neighbors .
