During the last four years, Mr. and Mrs. Babcock have been the only husband and wife team who have taught and actively participated in high school affairs. Therefore, the Senior Class wishes to acknowledge them in a special dedication. The Class of 1964 is the first class to dedicate its yearbook to two people. We sincerely believe that Mr. and Mrs. Babcock deserve this unique honor. Edward and his mother smile for the photographer. A picture is worth a thousand words. 3

DEDICATION In our school, there is a team of husband and wife who has ably contributed to our Vocational, Academic, and extracurricular programs. Their energetic, engaging personalities have provided the pleasant atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable. The Vocational Department has been fortunate to have Mrs. Babcock's experienced instruction and advice. Mr. Babcock has promoted the Academic program through his capable instruction of algebra. Together, they have trained many students in the field of sports. Mrs. Babcock has directed the cheerleaders, and Mr. Babcock has managed the Junior Varsity basketball team. They have contributed much to our school and its student body. Therefore, we proudly dedicate our annual, the 1964 Tiger Lily, to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Babcock. Mrs. Babcock relaxes at home. YEARBOOK STAFF MESSAGE FROM STAFF The 1964 Tiger Lily isa product of several staffs. The Staffs arecom-prised of Seniors who donate much of their time to plan a yearbook that is a worthy representation of the Senior Class and Port Allegany Union High School. The Art Staff is responsible for the division pages that lend color and tone to a yearbook. Since a yearbook iscomposed ofnumerous pictures, the Photography Staff has the enormous task of taking, sizing, and developing these pictures. The Sports Staff plans the arrangements of pictures for the Sports Section. The Copy Staff supplements all pictures with adequate written material. To insure the perfection of the yearbook, the Proofreading Staff checks and rechecks all printed materials. The Typing Staff is responsible for the typing and neat ar- rangement of the printed material. To guarantee production of the yearbook, the Business Staff handles the financial matters. All of the staffs would like to take this opportunity to thank our Student Editors, our Chief Advisor Mr. Clark, and our Photography Advisor Mr. Owen for their guidance and help in the production of this successful yearbook—the 1964 Tiger Lily. 4
