B0 RD QF EDUCATIO President D C Hanna jr Secretary Mr H C Herger Treasurer Mrs C W Catlin Other Members Mr J A Carlson Mr W M Burleson OUR SILVER ANNIVERSARY published by the senior class and much credit 1 due to the students now men and women who started the project To the students who are graduating th1s year a span of twenty five years seems a very long time but after it is past It seems short indeed The faculty of that early day consisted of five members Mr F A Berkenstock Supervlsing Principal Mr H C Fetterolf Miss Wilma Kerschner Miss Katherine Miller and Miss Genevieve Lawler At that time the total enrollment of the high school was ninety students This year the total secondary school enrollment IS over four hundred and the faculty is ncade up of sixteen men and women all graduates of iecognized universities and colleges When the first Tiger Lily was published there was only one course of study offered to the student body Undoubtedly this fact was one of the reasons why so few tudents completed a high school course Today the school has such a dlV6I'S1f:lCd currlculum that practically each student can find the type of work best suited to his needs By means of a well rour ded activity program the students are taught to develop lnterests outside the regular textbook course A tribute should be paid to the men and women who have served on the school board throughout the years and given unstmtingly of their time and effort that the girls and boys might receive the best educational opportunities that our community could afford Patrons of the school also deserxe much credit for the loyalty and fine spirit of cooperatlon shown throughout the history of our school We hope that the fine examples of loyalty interest and friendship that have been maintained by former students mav continue throughout the years to come 8 ' ...,..,.....,...,.., ,..,,...
