May brought the arrival of cap and gowns, and district, regional, and state tournaments, and Se- nioritis. Jim Frishkorn commented, “With things like these on our minds, how can we concentrate on books!” 25

During the Senior year, a survey was taken of the members of the class as to what their future goals and plans were. Of the 64 students polled, 67% were planning to attend either a 2 or a 4 year college, 26% were planning to get a job, 5% were either getting married or al- ready married, and the other 2% were undecided as to what the future held for them. Here are a sampling of the results: Cheryl Wainwright — “I plan to go to college and get a degree in pharmacy, then open ‘Cheryl’s Drugs’.” Joseph Insley — “I want to become a fireman.” Linda Gilliland — “I intend to play pro- fessional tennis.
