LAST WILL MDTESTAMEST Upon our departure from P.H.S. we the Senior Class of 1955 grant Mr. Thomas, our Principal, the faculty, and future Seniors of 1956 the following bequests: To Mr. Thomas our loyal and understanding leader, we each leave love and sympathy for the guidance he has given us in the most important years of our lives. We also bequeath to our homeroom teachers, Mrs. Nannie Freeman and Mrs. Bernice Collins, love for their grateful and understanding guidance they have given us in the past years. The memory of the constant keep they have given us in our year of decision will remain in our hearts forever. And to the Junior Class we not only leave as much happiness as we have had in our Senior Year but the following bequests as well: IKE MARTIN leaves a Keep Away sign on Edna Powell in case any boy other than he be interested. A top giggler, JUNE WALLACE, leaves her wonderful laughs to Margaret Graham in hopes she will have as much fun as she did. HOWARD WAINWRIGHT leaves his good grades to Edward Wil- son. BARBARA MENETCH and JUDY BUNTING leave their typing ability to Loretta Townsend. BEVERLY WATKINS leaves her ability to make straight E ' s to Jeanette Lee. THOMAS GRAHAM leaves his love for English to anyone who likes it as much as he does. AUSTIN FREEMAN leaves his seat in Study Hall to Ben Law- son. One of our top basketball players, FRANCES EVANS, leaves her skills to Sylvia Holloway. GLORIA DIGGS leaves her swing and sway walk to Joyce Smith. ROSE HOLLOWAY leaves her commercial ability to Myra and Joan Firth. BETTY HOLLOWAY will gladly give any Junior girl a little advice on how to catch a man. LOIS DRYDEN bequeaths her ability to understand Mrs. Free- man ' s shorthand questions to Tewatha Moore and Billie Alexander. NORMA ROLLINS leaves her ability to sing hymns to Ethel Watkins and Lois Forrest. ASHLEY PAGE bequeaths all the slightly used gum under seat five in the first tow of room 2 08 to Julius Harris and Eddie Wade. BETTY LITTLE wills her excuse blanks to Serena Ferguson. JANICE JOYNER and BILLY HOPKINS leave their loving ways to any couple who know the secret. MAE WARD leaves her pleasing personality to Jean Thomas. TERRY FERGUSON leaves his secret on how to dress to Bill Anderson. LOTTIE HOLLOWAY leaves her eating ability to Sara Insley. WARREN FORREST leaves his happy-go-lucky ways to Tommy Hudgins. CHARLES WATKINS leaves his cuteness to none other than Don Ward. SYDNEY HOLLOWAY will gladly give any Junior girl a little advice on how it feels to have pierced ears, MARY WINNER, who takes a delight in cutting her own hair, leaves her secret to Patricia Smith. PEGGY CRAWFORD leaves her dignity to Lucendia Topping, Nelson Watkins, and William Martin. ALTON MOORE and BILLY NETTLES are selling their secret on how to stay out of the office to Wesley Freeman. DOUGLAS MOORE leaves his love for television to anyone who likes it as much as he does, HENRY HUBBARD, after a great deal of consideration, wills his fast moving energy to Edna Edwards, Edwin Wainwright, David Dryden, and Willard Rollins ELIZABETH FIRMAN leaves her ability to speak her piece to Mary Milton and Maxine Cockran. NANCY FORREST and EDDIE SINGLETON leave their quietness to Indiana Messick, Edna Insley, and Jean Berry. BETTY QUINN leaves her winning ways to Jimmy Pickens, Joyce Rollins and Charles Lester. JOHN WESLEY BUNTING leaves his shortness to Cerald Wornom, Jack Ferguson, David Messick, and Daniel Inge. LEROY SHORES leaves his secret on how to catch your woman to John Mahlon. ROBERT FORESRT leaves his appetite to all those who rob the cafeteria at quartet of one., HORACE MOORE leaves his method of how to get out of class to anyone who knows how it works. DELORIS FOSTER who seems to be able to do a little of every- thing, leaves her skills to Deanna Williams and Muriel Forrest. GERALDINE INSLEY leaves her ability to get up at 8:o6 and get to school at 8:07 to Jackie Bunting and Terry Parker. We hereby declare all previous promises to pay, wills, testaments, or anything else by this class as null and void, and we the Senior Class of 1955 leave the entire Junior Class as much happiness as we have had.
