Q U'lI'lU'l if Wlth a few exceptuons the graduatung class of 53 entered the first grade In September of 1941 OF the twelve years almost completed srnce that tame seven of them were spent In an elementary school gathermg the basis of our education graduation As we crossed the threshold and entered the door of educatlon lntoa new world we expressed various mixed emotlons Some were clpprenhensuve others loyous but all possessed a feeleng of wonderment for the new phase of lute we were entermg Each year held more for us than the one before We Elementary school was where we learned to luve weth other people to play and work with them harmonlously From the many types of studues we had un those seven years we lnked some much better than others We stnll have the same favorntes and have more fully developed our knowledge of them so that we may use them after There were actlvutues planned whlch we took part ID Life began to have more meaning as we appl led our learn :ng to dauly use Those days were most spectflcally Important un the development of our character Had we not climbed the furst rungs of the educatuonal ladder we could never have attauned our present posltton and be prepared for much hagher achnevement 6 I l ' .
