Assistant Principal WILLIAM H. McKEEL, Assistant Principal ELIZABETH SHAWN, MARY GRACE ARMENT, Director of Records Secretary The people of Poplar Bluff have shown their dedication to the community’s youth by pro- viding the best educational facilities and staff available. No matter how vast or how expensive the edu- cational plant and staff are, they are not enough to provide the full educational experience. In order to fully complete the learning process, a third ingredient is necessary; that is a dedi- cated student body. I challenge the student body of this school to do its best to utilize the many opportunities provided and to accept the challenges of 1967 and all the years to come. William McKeel Assistant Principal 17

Principal ART H. KELLER, Principal You are living in a period of time when “change” is the common password. Change always brings about new problems. Just what these oppor- tunities and problems will be are not known at the present. However, it is known that unless you take full advantage of the educational opportunities you are now afforded, you may very well miss out on the opportunities of the future and surely will be unprepared to deal with the problems that will arise. The jobs of the future will require people who have a good knowledge of human relationships; so, as you continue in school, try to develop the ability to understand and get along with all people. Keep in mind this old proverb: “He who has 1000 friends, has not a friend to spare, but he who has one enemy meets him everywhere.” Art Keller Principal Rl TH BROWN, Secretary
