Somoni LOYALTY has for many years been the true prevailing Spirit at P.B.H.S. This year, the goal of the Bluff Staff was to capture and highlight this reigning characteristic. In Sports, Organizations, and Academics, a sense of LOYALTY blends to bring forth the best efforts of all concerned for the better- ment of this school, which is the foundation of the future. Through Sports, students can show their ability to be loyal; not only to their team, but to their school as well. The various Organizations offer an excellent opportunity to teach young people of our great age co-operation and capability to work successfully with others. High Academic standing, however, should always rank foremost as the goal of each and every student. Without the worthy deals of our studies, there would be no reason for sports participation or membership in organizations. What better place could be found to practice LOYALTY than in the classroom? Here we are offered an excellent challenge to demonstrate the true Spirit of Poplar Bluff High School.
