 Literature plays an important part in the Language Arts classes. To interpret the meanings of modern and traditional literature; to deter- mine the correct use of man’s most universal language; and to learn to express our ideas and convictions more effectively . . . these are the stepping-stones to discovering the vast, enormous area of Language Arts. Through themes, exercises, and compositions, the students of P.B.H.S. learn to state their thoughts to the fullest degree.
