SENIORS N. S. Sechrest was chosen president as a result of the election of class officers, others were: Jeannette Lam bert, Vice-president, Frances Frey, Secretary, and Bob Hendrickson, Treasurer. At the first class meeting Mr. Donald Swain, Miss Peggy Burge, Mrs. Ruth Minetree, and Mr. Stanley Conner were chosen as sponsors. The regular sale of Curtis maga- zines, Christmas cards, and gift wrappings was conducted by the seniors, and the stands at the foot- ball and, basketball games were op- erated under their management. This was the initial year for the sale of Siar Times newspapers and the presentation of the Barbershop- pers as a means of soliciting funds. The Senior Play directed by Miss Burge was presented in April. The juniors again played host to the seniors at the Prom. The event of supreme interest was the trip to New Orleans in May. The picnic was enjoyed shortly before the Baccalaureate and Com- mencement exercises conclusively ended the year.
