Early in the fall the Junior Class held its an nual election of officers who were to act 1t official representatives. Leonard Hughes was victimized as their President. Originality was the keynote in the Junior Class this year: They used Hy the Light of the Silvery Moon as the theme of the '47 been that class' project for many years, was revived. For music for the l'rom, the class Junior-Senior Prom. The Junior Class carnival, whici selected one of Southeast Missouri's and Southern lll1no1 favorite dance bands. Yes, the old maestro, Jack Staulcup, played his seventh year he1'e, and thc Proms wouldn't seem right without his music.
